Dorset Council have received an application from BT to close Unnamed Road, Witchampton from the access road to Dean Leaze Cottages to the access road leading to Dean Farm (in both directions), a distance of approximately 600 metres. The closure has been requested to allow BT to carry out works on their overhead network. These works are programmed to commence from 09:30, 15th October 2020 until 15:20, 15th October 2020.

BT will publicise the road closure in a number of ways: they will place information boards on the road in this area to inform the travelling public of the works; they will carry out a letter drop to local residents directly affected by the works; and they will sign a vehicular diversion route using the local road network. The official notice below shows the extent of the closure and the diversion route.

If you have any concerns about this proposal, please contact Dorset Council by 23rd September 2020.
