Conclusion of External Audit 2018/19 – Notice and External Auditors Report

The External Auditor PKF Littlejohn LLP have reviewed the Vale of Allen Parish Council’s accounts for 2018/19 and provided their report.  They raised two minor points:

• a ‘yes’ instead of a ‘no’ was inserted regarding the previous year’s accounts relating to whether it was submitted on time
• although the 2018/19 accounts were made available on the website on 2 June for public viewing and the ‘Notice’ complied with the 30 continuous working days (and still viewable now), it should have been after committee formal approved them on 11 June, so the ‘Notice’ should have been from that date

Apart from these two minor issues, the accounts have been audited and approved.
