The External Auditor has now concluded their annual audit of the Parish Council. Our finances are satisfactory and no issues arising from them, but the Auditor has highlighted a couple of procedural comments:

  • The Annual Governance statement should have been formally approved before the Financial statement ……even though it was at the same meeting
  • A box on the form was incorrectly completed. The ‘Yes’ should have been a ‘No’ relating to the previous year’s audit.
